Welcome to Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival

Following what will be our next festival in October 2022 we are excited to confirm TGF will be back in Whitby for a Spring Gathering for the first time in four years. The weekend will again feature artists from around the world, so come and join us and them to celebrate all things gothic & alternative

Our Saturday night headliners are New Model Army, massively influential in ‘post-punk’, ‘folk-rock’, ‘political-rock’, ‘goth’, ‘metal’ and all kinds of musical sub-cultures but they have steadfastly refused to belong to any club or style that would limit them. Following their delayed 40th Anniversary celebrations we are delighted to welcome them back to Whitby.

Headlining Friday night and heading over from Los Angeles for a series of very exclusive European shows including Whitby are Cold Cave who are synonymous with the modern-day resurgence of darkwave and synth-pop. They have performed in locations as illustrious as The Getty and The Guggenheim. The have performed alongside Nine Inch Nails, The Jesus and Mary Chain and others. Wesley Eisold & Amy Lee carry the torch for modern post-punk. From their primordial noise industrial beginning to their shimmering synth pop Cold Cave have established themselves as long-running luminaries of the underground and beyond.

Joining NMA & Cold Cave and making their festival debuts on Saturday we have the our very special guests, the magnificent, Lebanon Hanover. Also popping their Whitby cherry are the stunning IST IST, who recently supported The Mission in London & Manchester. Opening our Saturday bill are our special guests The Nosferatu.

Our very special guests for Friday will be announced later in the year but we can confirm that joining Cold Cave on Friday night’s bill are the reborn and wonderful The Rose of Avalanche and opening the festival we welcome Siberia.

See you in Whitby with your friends and other like-minded people where together we can create an experience to remember. We will endeavour to evolve the festival programme with more diverse performance and happenings to enhance your time in the town…
