ONLINE VIRTUAL FESTIVAL GUIDE

Are you wondering what 'VIRTUALLY HALLOWEEN' is and how a virtual festival works?  Then look no further.  This October we are working with actress Juliet Landau (Buffy Vampire Slayer, Ed Wood, Angel, A Place Among the Dead) to curate a special online virtual festival. We hope to see you this Halloween!

VIRTUALLY HALLOWEEN

A virtual Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival, what’s that?

Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival is a biannual gothic and alternative festival held at The Pavilion in Whitby, UK since 2018 which builds on the towns’ history in the gothic calendar of being a pilgrimage for fans of the dark and macabre.  But, as with most live events, Covid-19 has put a halt to this Halloweens real-life festival and so we now bring you ‘Virtually Halloween’; an interactive on-line festival hosted on a digital platform that combines music, film, on-line markets in our Expo zone and socialising and meet the guests in the virtual guests area and more!

Sounds great, so what’s on?

We will have an EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW screening of a Miss Juliet Production ‘A Place Among The Dead’ with special Q&A event with director, writer and actress, Juliet Landau (Buffy, Angel, Ed Wood, Bosch) and supporting cast. A Place Among the Dead stars Juliet Landau with Gary Oldman, Ron Perlman, Robert Patrick, Lance Henriksen, Joss Whedon, David J & best-selling author Anne Rice, appearing for the first time ever in a movie!  There will be live music and ‘in conversation’ with David J of the legendary band Bauhaus as well as music from Saigon Blue Rain and Monica Richards (Faith and the Muse) and Byronic Sex & Exile. There will be alternative markets in the online Expo area and an all-day ‘virtual club’ where you can meet old friends and new.  Later in the day our own Tim Sinister will be hosting a music quiz (prizes to be won) and there will be DJ sets until late.

So how does it work?

Just book your ticket (via Ticketmaster or Gigantic) and you will receive a unique link by email on the day of the festival. Click on the link, enter your name and email address and that’s it!  The festival is hosted on a website so any device with a web browser can be used.

Will I still be able to gaze across the bay from The Abbey, have seagulls steal my fish and chips and the wind blow my hat into the sea?

Sadly no, this will be from the comfort of your own home.

I’ve never been to Whitby but love horror films and the goth scene, is this still for me?

Absolutely!  We hope to bring together the fantastic community of Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival and welcome new friends from around the globe.

Tickets are just £15 (plus booking fee) from Gigantic and Ticketmaster.  Click Here for details>>>
